  • SIMPLY SCRIPTS

Lavender Moon Midwifery, led by Certified Nurse-Midwife Michele Kazmier, CNM, MS, offers a unique “Simply Scripts” service that supports community midwives and their clients with easy access to needed medications. Through low-cost, same-day virtual visits (with most insurance accepted), Midwife Michele partners with local licensed midwives to provide assessment and, when appropriate, prescriptions for common pregnancy and postpartum concerns such as UTIs, mastitis, HSV treatment, nausea, and thyroid or other chronic medication refills.

  • WIC & Perinatal Support

WIC is a free nutrition program for pregnant people, new parents, and children under 5. Eligible families receive monthly benefits for healthy foods, breastfeeding support, formula when needed, nutrition education, and referrals to other community resources. If you’re pregnant or have a baby or young child, WIC can be a huge help with groceries and feeding support while you’re growing your family.

  • Pelvic Floor Therapist

A pelvic floor therapist is a specially trained physical therapist who helps with issues like pelvic pain, leaking urine when you cough or sneeze, pressure or heaviness “down there,” and core weakness during pregnancy and after birth. They use gentle, one-on-one exercises, hands-on techniques, and education to help you heal, feel more comfortable in your body, and get back to the activities you love—whether that’s chasing toddlers, returning to work, or simply going through the day without pain or leaking.

  • Perinatal Mental Health & Counseling

I'm a licensed therapist who provides therapy to individuals during the reproductive years within the state of California. I specialize in pregnancy, pregnancy loss, pregnancy termination, birth trauma and adjusting to parenthood. I use a trauma and attachment lens to help clients to process trauma and/or cope better with anxiety and depression.

  • Lactation Support (IBCLC & Feeding Help)

Breast4Baby offers private office, in-home, and virtual consultations to assist with all facets of breastfeeding from latching, positioning, assessment, feeding patterns, weight-gain, oral ties, pumping, and more. Relax and get tailored support for feeding your baby.

  • Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing and drying the placenta after birth, then grinding it into a powder and placing it into easy-to-take capsules. Many parents choose this option because they like the idea of gently supporting their recovery with something their own body created. Some people report feeling more balanced, supported with energy, and that their mood and milk supply feel steadier while taking their capsules, though research on the benefits is still limited and mixed.

  • Doulas

Doula support during a home birth wraps you in steady, continuous care from someone who knows birth inside and out and is there just for you. A doula offers emotional support, comfort measures, position ideas, and kind, grounding words through each wave of labor, while your midwife focuses on clinical safety and monitoring you and your baby. Together, they create a calm, supported environment where you feel informed, heard, and never alone. SoCal Doulas proudly supports families planning home birth throughout Southern California and is happy to work with multiple insurance plans, helping many families access doula support with little to no out-of-pocket cost.

  • Postpartum Meal Delivery

Postpartum, aka the 4th trimester, is a sacred time of physical and emotional healing. The body must replenish lost nutrients, produce breast milk and rebalance hormones all while bonding with a new baby.  Our ancestors knew that new Moms should avoid cold, raw, dry, crunchy foods in favor of warm, soft, easy-to-digest meals that promote healing.
