Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about visiting the office.

Do I need to be planning a home birth to come to your office?

Not at all. Many clients come for in-office prenatal care, lactation support, or childbirth education with no plans for a home birth. Every service is available as a standalone visit.

Can I book lactation support only?

Yes. Lactation consultations are available on their own for breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, low supply, painful latch, tongue tie, and return-to-work planning. You do not need to be a prenatal or birth client.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Eligible prenatal care and lactation services may be covered by IEHP, Medi-Cal Direct, and other plans. The easiest way to find out is to verify your benefits before booking, or view all accepted insurance plans.

Can I bring my baby or my partner?

Absolutely. Partners, support people, and babies are always welcome. This is a family-centered space.

Do you offer virtual visits?

Yes. Virtual consultations are available for select services including lactation support, prenatal consultations, and postpartum check-ins. See the virtual support page for details.
